Below is an estimate of the value of the technology considering the following estimations:
-Due to the multitude of applications of the technology, licensing is the most likely source of income of which the standard royalty rate of 5% of net profit would be used.
-It would be assumed that the licensees of the technology have only the average industry profit rate of 10%. This might be on the low-end but this a safe estimate.
-It would be assumed that only 10% of the total potential licensees would become actual licensees.
